On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I am writing to share that Brittany Collins will conclude her tenure as Executive Director of the Betty and Davis Fitzgerald Foundation at the end of November as she prepares for a new professional opportunity.
Women and girls in metro Atlanta face rising mental health challenges driven by economic pressure, caregiving demands, trauma, and systemic inequities. In 2025, AWF commissioned a comprehensive, multi-county study, which found that mental health challenges among women and youth are widespread, intensifying, and deeply rooted in systemic conditions.
The Betty and Davis Fitzgerald Foundation thanks Brittany Collins for her leadership as she prepares to conclude her tenure as Executive Director at the end of November. Qaadirah Abdur-Rahim will serve as Interim Executive Director while the Board searches for a permanent successor.
